I thought I would share this neat way to fix (activate) GPS for some devices “ Curves seem to have a particular problem getting their GPS started but it should work for any device.

1: go to Options>status and select it
2: Type test (without the quotes) “ Device Self Test Application appears
3: Press trackball or menu key and select start
4: scroll down to GPS and select it (checkmark will appear)
5: then click RUN
6: You™ll be instructed to go outside, etc. With a clear path to the sky click the trackball and select Start Fixing
